Welcome to Far North Queensland Multiple Birth Association 

Far North Queensland Multiple Birth Association Inc. (previously Cairns Multiple Birth Association) was founded in 1978.

We cover a wide region within the Far North, with members as far away as Cooktown, Weipa, Atherton Tablelands, Innisfail, Tully, and Mareeba.

A place to find support and encouragement through your multiple birth journey from belly to school and beyond. The club offers a private Facebook, fortnightly coffee playgroup, special guests, school holiday and after-school, catch-ups, ladies' nights, family days, MULTIPLE BIRTH WEEK celebrations, Christmas parties, and more!

Our Fridays' fortnightly playgroups are run by our dedicated volunteer Mum of twins Danielle Moide at 240A Spence Street, Bungalow QLD 4870, 12:30 PM- 02:00 PM. It is a safe, air-conditioned space with easy access to the pram. At this friendly space, you can exchange information with mothers who understand Multiple birth situations, have a chat, consult, and gain, or just take a break for coffee or enjoy a fruit plate. Spending time at playgroups is extremely important for the mental health of Parents and provides a new environment experience for babies. 

If you're expecting or have had multiple birth and would like to join a local support group get in contact with us today, we would love to have a chat! and prepare you for the big day.

Positions for new Committee members are still available, we are looking for Coordinator of events and a coordinator to assist in applying for grants. Parents that have the set of skills welcome to introduce them self . this is a joyful positions that provide self fulfilment and looks good on resume. These positions may gain experience and knowledge of running organisation.
